According to BPS, the fashion subsector contributes around 18% of the total GDP in the creative sector, and its impact keeps growing, reaching up to 75% of the national GDP in 2020. Wow, that’s truly remarkable, isn’t it?

Recognizing the importance of the fashion industry, the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs (Kemenkop UKM) is lending its support. They see the huge potential among fashion players, or what we usually call fashionpreneurs, in Indonesia. It’s not just about how much production value there is, but also about how far this industry can move forward. Kemenkop UKM is committed to supporting entrepreneurs in this sector.

One form of support from Kemenkop UKM is through the Entrepreneur Hub event. This event aims to develop the Indonesian fashion product market and ensure its sustainability. This year, the focus is on expanding market reach and ensuring that Indonesian fashion can compete globally. One significant moment of this program is the Kick Off Entrepreneur Hub: Fashionpreneur Bali 2024, with the cool theme, “Bring Indonesia Fashion to the World”. This event serves as the kick-off for other exciting activities.

During the event, collaborations among relevant parties are strongly felt. Paramatex, along with Kemenkop UKM, TBF Consultant, Paramatex consumers, and over 70 fashion business owners, hosted the Entrepreneur Hub event in Bali. They all share one big vision: to advance the local fashion industry sustainably.

The Kick Off event is not just about the opening ceremony. At the Entrepreneur Hub, there’s a unique networking activity called Speed Dating, where participants have the chance to meet potential partners who can support their fashion business directly.
